of the curvilinear EUS system including its functions and capabilities.
Specific objectives for EUS2008 include:

- Attendees will be presented a comprehensive review of EUS FNA that will provide a better
understanding of the technique, indications and risks, as well as an understanding of how to
maximize the clinical potential of this technique.
- A thorough review will be presented of currently applied interventional EUS techniques that
will provide attendees with an understanding of how to perform the technique, its indications
and contraindications, risks and potential benefits.
- Attendees will hear presentations on interventional EUS techniques which currently have limited
or no clinical applications but are judged to have significant future potential with the goal
being to educate attendees on future potential for interventional EUS.
